Join Us In September:
Second Sunday Mission Giving: Heart Havens. A non-profit
organization providing a nurturing, welcoming environment for adults
with developmental disabilities. Contributions provide for activities and
essential services not covered by Medicaid.
2nd - Bible Study "The Chosen" resumes for 8 weeks (first 4 weeks
held at Carson UMC)
3rd - United Women in Faith, 7:15 p.m. in the Social Hall
12th - UM Men's Meeting, following Chicken Picking
13th - UM Men's Annual Brunswick Stew, $9/qt, Pick up 11 a.m.
Please pre-order with a UM Men's club member
14th - Playground/Pavillion Vote following worship. All members (this
includes youth who have been confirmed) are urged to vote.
Early voting available in Social Hall.
27th - Community Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Second Sunday Mission Giving: World Communion Sunday. A time
to remember all persons coming together across the world to celebrate
the Lord's Supper. Contributions provide scholarships for racial and
ethnic minority students in the US and worldwide.

1st - United Women in Faith, 7:15 p.m. in the Social Hall
14th - Annual Charge Conference, 7:00 p.m. at Lebanon UMC in
Dinwiddie
16th - UM Men's Meeting, 6:30 p.m. in the Social Hall
17th - UWF Carry Out Chicken Dinner fundraiser, 5-7 p.m.
18th - UM Men Fundraiser at Hunt's Game Preserve Tower Shoot
19th - Laity Sunday
25th - Community Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
26th - Trick or Trunk at Patterson's, dinner at 5:00 p.m.
